I'm not understanding the logic behind taking the flag at Station 4 down. One person complained that they felt offended and that was enough to order it to be removed? What happened to democratic process?

Since when do personal feelings trump the 1st amendment? What's this country coming to?

The offended citizen will sing a different tune when the citizen's house is burning down. Creep.

Madam Mayor, No disrespect intended, but PLEASE consider placing your energies and abilities in matters that will actually yield positive and meaningful results for your constinuency in Newton. Firefighting is an extremely dangerous profession... when all others run away from a fire, these very brave and selfless souls run it in! We should be thanking them profusely, not insulting them. Respectfully, An appreciative citizen
