The flag that was hung in station four means a lot to our firefighters it represents those that lost their lives in 9/11 and other disasters... there is absolutely no reason that it should have been removed it is in remembrance of those lives lost in line of duty I was born and brought up in newton and find it really disturbing that this mayor would have something removed that means a lot to our firefighters and families as well

This flag represents brave men and woman who died and sacrificed so that their legacy lives on. It's a reminder of the nobility and dangers that current firefigters face.

Doesn't the first amendment apply in firehouses? Honor and respect the way they honor and respect their fallen!

Mayor Fuller; please reinstate the flag. Inside the station. There is nothing offensive about a flag that depicts the lives of those lost. Ever. What is offensive to me personally is the quick action you took to remove it. Support the people who throughout their service, support Newton. Do the right thing. Please and thank you.

That Mayor is a disgrace to the community. If only she understood the meaning behind the flag. This family will ALWAYS support and stand behind the men and woman that serve our country and risk their lives to save our lives.

The Thin Red Line Flag should be openly displayed in the firehouse as a symbol of respect, honor, courage and bravery that all firefighters adhere to each day of their lives. Also, it is an impingement on an individual(s) or collective group's right to freedom of speech by not allowing the honorary Thin Red Line Flag to be displayed within or outside the firehouse.

This is an outrage. Our Mayor, and I use that term lightly should be ashamed of herself. She certainly won’t get my vote.
