We are currently living with the first generation of children that are projected to live a shorter life than the generation before them. I'm fairly certain that McDonalds, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, General Mills, public school cafeterias etc.... should be more of a concern than art on a wall.

I see nothing wrong with this.... for art, this is tame and relies completely on adult innuendo. No one would complain if this was featured in a Bugs Bunny cartoon for instance, and would be right in line with the subtle adult humor often used. If people would just follow the suggested advice, they would be a lot less wound up and could find productive things about our city to try and fix...

I don't find this piece to be offensive or in poor taste. The only reason people are freaking out is because it is on a adult store. If this was on any other building people wouldn't have over analyzed this mural.

DON'T CENSOR RICHMOND. The murals are the best thing to happen to the Fan since Helen's.

It would be a great injustice to the Richmond art scene to remove this mural because insecure people feel threatened by a piece of artwork as well as a slap in the face to the artist who has taken the time to complete such a beautiful piece.

Self exploration helps girls gain confidence and assists in discovering good sexual health. The artistic promotion of that should be left alone to continue education and encouragement.

I live on Crutchfield, the same street as the high school everyone seems so concerned about. The "children" who attended this school fight in the streets, they throw rocks at neighborhood dogs, they scream sexual comments while I garden. A mural on a building is not going to "corrupt" them. There are laws in VA for adult stores preventing anyone under the age of 18 (including infants in strollers) from entering. Any child enticed by the mural will not make it past the parking lot.
