we actually did it because they agreed to simplify the voting process for everyone living abroad. this is such a huge win for the diaspora and i cant thank you guys enough for sticking with this until the end.

Nearly half of the 12.5 mil Serbs in the world currently live outside of Serbia, making it one of the largest diaspora populations in the world. In addition, the diaspora sends $5.5 billion back to the homeland every year which is nearly 15% of Serbia's GDP
Despite these facts, Serbs outside of Serbia are grossly underrepresented and ignored when it comes to political life. Voting is extremely difficult for Serbian citizens who live abroad and obtaining citizenship, even if one was born in Serbia or has Serbian parents, is a complicated and lengthy procedure.
We demand that Serbs who live abroad be allowed to vote through a simplified process giving them a voice in the political fate of the country. If you agree, please sign the petition.

Дајте српској дијаспори право гласа! Половина од 12.5 милиона Срба у свету тренутно живи ван граница Србије што нас чини једним од најрасељених народа на свету. Српска дијаспора у матицу годишње пошаље 5.5 милијарди Долара, што чини безмало 15% БДП-а Србије.
Упркос овим чињеницама, Срби изван Србије нису довољно заступљени и потпуно су игнорисани што се тиче политичког живота. Излазак на изборе је веома компликован за оне који живе у иностранству и стецавање српског држављанства, иако сте рођени у Србији или имате српске родитеље, је дуготрајна процедура.
Захтевамо да Срби који живе у иностранству добију право на глас кроз поједностављени поступак, како би и они убудуће имали учешће у политичким одлукама своје земље. Молимо Вас да потпишете петицију ако се слажете.

Die serbische Diaspora besteht auf ihr Wahlrecht! Fast die Hälfte der weltweit 12.5 Millionen Serben lebt außerhalb Serbiens, was uns zu einem der zerstreutesten Völker der Welt macht. Die Diaspora sendet jährlich 5.5 Milliarden Dollar in die Heimat, was fast 15% des serbischen BIP ausmacht.
Trotz dieser Fakten sind die Auslandsserben völlig unterrepräsentiert und werden, was den politischen Alltag in Serbien angeht völlig ignoriert. Das Wählen ist für Serben die ihren Wohnsitz im Ausland haben extrem kompliziert und auch das Ansuchen um die serbische Staatsbürgerschaft ist, selbst wenn man in Serbien geboren wurde oder serbische Eltern hat, ein langwieriger und zäher Prozess.
Wir fordern, dass Serben aus dem Ausland durch einen vereinfachten Prozess zu ihrem Wahlrecht kommen um zukünftig eine Stimme in der politischen Entwicklung Serbiens zu haben. Bitte unterschreiben Sie die Petition falls Sie zustimmen.

Mislim da imamo vrlo obrazovane i vrlo uspešne ljude u dijaspori,čiji je ugao gledanja na politiku Srbije racionalniji,fleksibilniji,moderniji i koji se ne rukovode stranačkim i ličnim imteresima!
Sasvim ispravno da svaki drzavljanin Srbije, covek koji ima Srpski pasos, mora imati zakonsko pravo glasanja, bez obzira, gde ziveo i radio! Ako mu je to pravo uskraceno, onda zakon nije u redu!Ustvari,zakon je nezakonit!
Свака држава која донекле држи до себе допушта својој дијаспори да судјелује у политичкој будућности своје отаджбине
Vrativsi se iz Amerike u Srbiju da zivim uvideo sam da je jedini nacin da Srbija krene napred je da se diaspora ukljuci u politicki rad.
Српска дијаспора би најискреније гласала, она није поткупљива. Омогућити им гласање за предсједника и омогућити им одређену квоту посланика.

Mi Srbi iz dijaspore I hranimo I branimo Srbiju cak ovamo u belom svetu. Da nije nas odavno bi Srbija nestala.

All expats need to have the right to vote for what happens in their own countries. With so many societies struggling for voter interest we should not limit those who are willing to take the time to participate in their countries democratic process simply because their current mailing address is different.
