1. We the undersigned request that the Alpine School District in Utah County, Utah allow children with autism and other special needs to use the Rapid Prompting Method (RPM) as a form of learning and communication in their classroom and that the district also allow teachers to teach it to the children. 2. We also request that Lenae Crandall, who has been trained in RPM at her own expense with district approval, be allowed to continue to use RPM in the classroom without restrictions on time or manner. 3. Since RPM is for some special needs children their only means of communicating with anyone else we request that the district allow the teachers and staff to include this in the Individual Evaluation Plans (IEP's) for each child. 4. We also request that parents be allowed to volunteer in the classroom to help these children in learning and communicating with RPM to assist in the children's development.
