I'm not from Texas, no one should ever have to give up their birds because of a law.

My rooster is basically a guard dog for the hens and he is super friendly. The city is being totally unreasonable about this.

I believe that the city ordinances as it is currently written is vague and is out dated. The ordinance needs to be modified to distinguish the difference between roosters that are raised as pets to be allowed and a limit placed on the number of roosters that can be kept as pets. The roosters should not be raised or breed for fighting

I believe all pet roosters should be allowed to stay with their families.
