I certainly endorse the call to allow students preform prayers and those who wear moderate attire to do so.

I hope this school treats everyone the same regardless of race, religion and other protected characteristics.

I would expect better from a head teacher. He actions appear very intolerant.

In an overwhelming world, children should be free to find calm and hope in ways that matter to them (including prayer). In our diverse community, schools should support this with tolerance and inclusion, as long as it doesn’t disrupt others.

This is what causes religious strife. Tolerance is the way to peace.

The sign says Churchill and the policy said the rest. Despicable! Let the children pray!

Stripping the school from their religious freedom is ironic as the school says in one of their documents 'we support religious practices'

I agree that schools should let children pray as they are not breaking the law or harming anyone. This is one of the protected characteristics in the UK.

This is beyond shocking, a real shame for the local community. If you stopped anyone from praying in any workplace you’d be sacked with immediate effect. This backwards woman has gone crazy and she needs to go asap!

Disgraceful behavior. Freedom of religion is a basic human right. This sort of racist discrimination shouldn't be allowed anywhere, let alone in a school
