Parents have fundamental rights to stay informed about their kids education. It's unlawful to hide classroom materials from parents. Why hiding? is there anything wrong with what being taught to our children?

Children were never confused until the teachers and the unions got involved. All kids go through phases of being tomboys or playing with girls toys but it is a temporary phase not confusion about their genders. Get out of the gender business...it is all about the money...and you will pay for your misguidance....believe me....

Re MCPS’ flip-flopping and reversing their policy to allow opt-out and inform parents when LGBTQ resources will be used in class - please go back to the job of teaching the basics - at least in elementary school. At that age, children aren’t really capable of making such life-altering decisions. They are still in the process of discovering HOW they learn, their weaknesses and strengths in math, reading, art, etc. There is no need to complicate life further by introducing gender/sex preferences. Stop trying to be “cool” by following every new trend. That’s for the youth, not the leaders. Focus on the job of basic education and maybe reading and math scores will go up.

LGBTQ "inclusion" has no place in the school system. We pay taxes to educate not indoctrinate. Drag queens and forcing the trans life stye are NOT embraced by the gay community. MCPS's change in the opt out process has been underhanded. Do not be deceived. The gay community sees through this agenda - why can't parents?!

I have a six-year-old grandson in MCPS. Horrifying to think what kind of adult mentality, would dare subject, or expose him to this latest liberal thinking. Do whatever you like as a trans or whatever, but, please don't impose your private/personal "feelings"' on school children.

Please stop teaching anti-religious, and anti-American ideology to our kids through all areas of curriculum. Please require clear communication and an option for parents to opt out when curriculum includes indoctrination counter to their families’ religion and values system.
