If other players act this way and still get into LCS and other higher communities, Pants should absolutely still be able to get in. His skill in the game should show that.

Pants is undoubtedly a down to earth and sincere guy. This kind of punishment is insanely harsh and while his behavior in that singular, as in one time, instance wasn't acceptable he's tried to better himself and has moved past it. It's a shame to see this held over his head when he's not a bad person. Anger is a human emotion and bottling it up sometimes leads to outburst, that's normal HUMAN behavior. Unfortunately, it seems that you (RIOT) expect everyone to not feel any sort of emotion and be cut off. It's just sick, and to even tell the man that he qualified and then change your mind over a mistake he made so long ago is just absolutely deplorable.
