Allow Nose Piercings, Male Earrings, and Shorts at Brownsboro High School

If you're going to do a dress code, it needs to be up to date, fair across the board, and enforced equally.

There is no reason for a piercing or shorts to impact our ability to learn.What impacts our ability to learn is being pulled out of class away from our education because of a stud or a tiny hole in our jeans above the knee or men wearing earrings.This is ridiculous and needs to change

Seriously, this is stupid. A nose piercing is in NO WAY a distraction. What’s distracting is taking a child out of a classroom, away from their education, to address the nose piercing.

You should allow nose piercings and boys ear piercings

Colleges don’t care, jobs don’t care, so why do schools? You go in and get stuff done who cares about looking like another copy off the same sexist machine.

If I can work in a hospital where professionalism is our top priority…and tattoos are allowed…surely a high school can allow nose piercings.

if boys can have facial hair, it’s only fair that girls can have nose rings.

The rule needs to be changed there’s no reason that you can’t AT LEAST wear a stud. It’s really not that distracting and it dines t bother anyone’s education.

this is 2021. why are we still worried about some piercings that “affect your learning” colleges don’t care. why should high schools

before i graduated, nose rings and earrings on both sexes did not effect my learning whatsoever. what really distracted me was when you guys went out of your way and took us away from our learning just for a simple stud.

this school sounds gay, kids vape in the bathroom but a girl cant wear something that makes her happy?

Literally the most stupidest rule ever and serves no purpose in anything and should just be lifted because it’s pointless.

Replacing the jewelry with a spacer does nothing but put the user at an expense and it is also very hard to find them. A nose piercing is a common piece of jewelry in this day and time and should be treated as such.

If boys are allowed facial hair, why is it bad for a girl to have a nose piercing? Frankly, I think I heard would be more distracting

This should also go for guys wearing earrings as well. Making it a dresscode concern brings more attention to it then just treating it as a normal thing.
