Mohawk athletes have been unfairly excluded from the 2016 Musical because the directors do not want to accommodate their schedules. Mohawk's administration has always encouraged students to join as many extracurricular activities as possible, yet this new decision mandates that students choose between athletics and the musical. This decision has severely affected the number of participating students in the musical, and is encouraging athletes to quit their sports teams.
