Allow Memorials at Sileby Cemetery

Please allow memorials at silent cemetery.

Let sleeping people lie undisturbed.

It is bad enough that people have lost their loved ones without the council wanting to do this.

Let's hope the council allow families to grieve as they wish

This needs to happen.

I think more consideration is needed for the bereaved.. all in favour to deny them marking their lovwd ones resting place shame on you!

Should be allowed any small memorial it's not a tank parked there with there name so wots the problem

There is no need to remove these items. They are part of a grieving process and do not affect the council at all.

I feel for these people suffering with the heart ake there causing upon grieving family's you should be able to put what you want on your loved ones grave (what is this world coming too)

It’s a place to remember loved ones, families should be allowed to place ornaments and things on the grave asking as it is within their plot and kept looking nice and tide!!

We lost are son two years ago we have got two extra post stuck in the ground I cannot see where their is a problem.

The Council do not appear to have acted in a transparent manner, the recorded minutes do not match the statement posted, followed by no comment when residents have questioned their interpretation. A highly sensitive matter has been dealt with in an abhorrent manner, the council need to remember they represent the people, in this case grieving families, talking to them would have been better than this.

Heavy handed bullying tactics have no respect for bereaved feelings

Anybody should be able to express their love to the lost how ever they desire
