Kneeling is the most humble way of worshiping God during Mass. When we kneel, we completely submit and surrender ourselves to our Heavenly Father.

Receiving Our Lord while kneeling is permitted by canon law. There's no reason at all to forbid it.

Shame on any pathetic excuse for a bishop who forbids kneeling during reception of the Blessed Sacrament.

Yes! Bishop Perez, lead your flock to God. We know you are well meaning, but what the faithful need right now is not to be catered to in weakness but to be courageously encouraged in our devotion to the Eucharistic Lord. It is Jesus who will renew the faith of the people; it is your job to direct our hearts to the contemplation of His presence in the liturgy. Please, please let us kneel.

Maintaining the traditional posture of kneeling after reception of Communion only serves to increase the Faith of the laity in the Real Presence. As one of the youth of our Church I firmly believe that we need to reinstate the reverence in our liturgy which has so often been lost in our day and age.

The Lord calls me to kneel. Man tells me to stand. To whom do you think I will listen? All due respect. #LordIAmNotWorthy
