I have trouble standing for long periods of time. Kneeling is more reverential and easier for some people with health conditions

When my children come as Feast day participants I think if those people moved by the Holy Spirit to kneel at these highlight times of the mass do kneel this does show visible signs of True faith.

It is no wonder that 70% of Catholics do not believe in the true presence of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. I came across a letter (dated in 2013) online to parishioners in Portland, Oregon from Archbishop Alexander Sample stating that they were "reinstating the sacramental practice of kneeling during the Lamb of God. He told the story of a Protestant minister who was invited to attend Mass. Afterward he was questioned on what he thought. He replied that he did not think that the congregation really believed in the Real Presence. When asked why he thought this, he said that he personally did not believe in the Eucharist as Catholics do, but if he did, he would approach our Lord for Communion walking on his knees. He found the casual and irreverent attitude at the time of Communion in that particular church very unconvincing."
*I am not a standout during this Sacred moment in church. I kneel. I had asked a priest if I am being disobedient and he said no. I had also asked if he thought that our new bishop would consider changing this practice and he said no. I pray that our prayers will change his mind.

I'm all in favor of the objective of this petition and, in addition, I would also strongly other efforts to "de-pentacostalize" our Liturgy (especially in the case of the "Our Father" with all the arm-waving) along with some restoration of at least a little Latin in some of the standard prayers in the Ordinary of the Mass. Is that so sinister? Thank you for your evangelistic efforts, Ms. Linden.

I work hard all week. I give to the church. Thanks to these people who have the COURAGE and BRAVERY to speak out, even if my priest does not. My father kneeled. My grandfather kneeled. I will kneel. I hope the bishop listens, some things are serious brother.

I agree 100%! I have visited churches for Mass in other cities where I was the only one kneeling after receiving the Holy Eucharist. It was very disturbing!

Liturgists have tried telling us for years what would make us pray better. It was all crazy. They talk down to people as if they (laity) have no clue about about prayer and liturgy. At Holy Communion time we are receiving the most amazing gift ever — the true Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus. We had better kneel down and make our thanksgiving. Oh, by the way, I have a graduate degree in pastoral/theological studies, just in case you liturgists think I am not enlightened.

Stop abusing Church teachings. Your doings are nothing but anti-Catholic. Wolves in shepherd's clothing... That's what you are!! And you're going to have to give account to that.
