For over 17 years the school has been hosting ski trips around the world, and as of the start of the school year, this has been cancelled because the school is not allowed to go on these trips during term times.
These school trips provide a unique, once in a lifetime experience which gives pupils oppurtunities to do things that they have never done before. School trips, aswell as being extremely enjoyable, give pupils skills and experiences which make them more rounded individuals.
Issuses have been brought up on the amount of learning time which is being taken away, but, and agreement can be established to allow pupils who are on track, to be allowed to go on school trips during term time.
You may ask, why the trips don't go ahead during holiday times, but the fact of the matter is that the teachers have lives outside of school and many of them have young families who they want to spend time with during the holidays.
If you feel like these oppurtunities should not be taken away from us, sign this petition.

Reaching this point has been an exhausting grind but seeing this level of momentum proves we are pushing against a real injustice. I am tired of the excuses but seeing so many of you rally behind these students keeps me moving forward.

school isnt just about sitting in a classroom staring at a wall for 6 hours. those trips actually teach you stuff.
my brother went on the ski trip years ago and said it was the best part of school. really unfair to change it now.
its literally always been like this. why fix what isnt broken?
LITERALLY SO STUPID. let them go!!
I think pupils should be allowed to go on school trips during term time because the teachers have children aswell and they'd want to spend time with there kids during half terms.
It's been done for 17 years so it can't stop now
