Do you know how ticked off my teachers are gonna be when I start showing up with crumpled up, ripped up, pocket lint ridden homework? Or when I show up 10 minutes late to every single class because I have to use my locker for the first time since 8th grade and it’s clear on the other side of the school from where all my classes are at. But who am I to say what’s better for a students organization and education. Banning backpacks will not eliminate the issues of students bringing vapes to school or the fear of weapondry being in schools, just like making students wear lanyards in the halls didn’t make schools any safer. But again, who am I to say what’s gonna be better for myself and my peers.

No kids have ever complained about tripping over backpacks, and we aren't going to now. What, teachers trip over them? Guess they should look where they're walking. It's genuinely unfair, and it'll only cause more problems than it solves. Pros: No more tripping over bags. Cons: Kids being late because there going to their locker back and forth. Kids being written up for having their bags. Female students being uncomfortable having no place to safely secure their personal items. Students dropping folders/binders/papers because they don't want to run back and forth to their lockers. ECT.

Not being allowed to carry bags creates difficult situations for students who need to carry their belongings and items necessary for class.
