The reason for this petition is to end the discrimination and create equality for incoming IPHS Freshmen students by allowing them to tryout for Varsity cheerleader. The IPCISD does allow, in all other aspects of athletics, the opportunity for incoming Freshmen to play sports at the varsity level. It is time to change this long standing cheerleading policy and abide by the mission statement and shared vision of IPCISD...TO ENSURE OUR STUDENTS THE BEST EDUCATONAL EXPERIENCE OF ANY NORTH TEXAS SCHOOL DISTICT AND PROVIDE A WELL ROUNDED EXPERIENCE...THAT EVERY STUDNET WILL DEVELOP A DESIRE TO PERFOM TO THE HIGHEST OF HIS OR HER , ACCORDING TO HIS OR HER INDIVIDUAL TALENTS WILL GRADUATE WITH THE SKILLS TO BE HAPPY...THAT EVERY STUDENT WIL HAVE A VISION FOR HIS OR HER OWN LIFE.
