Allow Groceries to pass through Zimbabwean Borders Duty-Free for people to get food in Zimbabwe
Zimbabwean industries are not producing enough to sustain the nation. The Zimbabwe People's Party would like the government of Mr ED Mnangagwa to allow all groceries to enter Zimbabwe from South Africa, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Namibia duty free. No limitations should be applied. The government should also allow people in Zimbabwe to arrange trucks to go to paces like Messina to buy groceries to ensure people have food during COVID-LOCKDOWN. This will help to avoid the use of Limpopo river as an unofficial border where goods are being smuggled bypassing the official Beit- Bridge Borderpost. We witnessed the army officers and police officers at the river taking 10 rands to 50 rands bribes to allow groceries to be smuggled through Limpopo River. Kids who are under 17 are also being used in this smuggling process and this is not good. Sign this petition so we can help our kids and women who end up being vulnerable in this situation.
