Allowing us to decorate our cap will essentially give us the opportunity to leave our lasting mark at Hercules High School. Popular to contrary belief, it is not just an expression of creativity. It moreover signifies all of the hard work that the class of 2019 has collectively overcome for the past four years. We have come this far in success and therefore reserve the right to have a bit of fun after the long nights of studying, the countless tears from AP classes, and the sweat put into our future.

It’s our first amendment right to express freedom of speech and expression. Banning this is unconstitutional and takes away from our creativity!!!! College graduates and thousands of other schools are able to have this right, why shouldn’t we?
