Lake Mohawk Golf Club is a private golf course. My residence is on it. If parks are open, golf courses should also be open as personal distancing is part of game and we are still paying club membership dues.

Has this petition been seen by Governor "No Golf" Murphy ? There are enough signatures already, and the limited golf season is shrinking as time is wasted. Or is this petition really just a tool for Ipetitions Corp to make money through donations ?!

We can easily social distance on a golf course. You can ever raise the cup on the greens so if you hit the cup that counts as going in. No body has to touch the flag or reach into the cup.

All my golf buddies and I believe golf courses; when properly setup from making payment to remove all the rakes from bunkers and raise the flag holes so we do not touch the poles, are much safer than even walking one's dog.

Golf courses are much safer than Acme or Wawa right now and provide people with exercise and mental health relief. Reopening courses in NJ would allow these facilities to generate revenue, keep employees earning, and give the community stress relief while maintaining a safe distance. No carts, no touching flagsticks, eliminating the handshake or high five, and removing rakes on bunkers are all practical ways to ensure safety.
Nobody wants to contract this virus, let these businesses earn and give people a safe activity to do. It works.
