We belong to a private course and had been playing and walking as a family prior to the shut down. Please reopen this option. We were extremely careful. My 8 and 10 year olds would love to get back on the course, as would my husband! Thanks!

Open the Golf Courses!
We practice safe distance already. The cups are raised, so no one comes in contact we each other. Everybody should walk if they can. A good five mile walk is good for the body and the soul!

With adequate individuals spacing and la 4 person limit on people in clubhouse at any one should keep everyone at a distance

If shooting ranges are open and they are indoors why is it that golf courses(outdoor individual sport) are not allowed to remain ope

Apparently nobody of any importance is going to act on this petition. What angers me the most is that the governor is allowing trout fishing to start as long as they follow CDC recommendations, just as us golfers are proposing. Plus, they are going to open bait and tackle shops to accommodate the fishermen. I don't get it at all.

It’s common sense to encourage people to get fresh air and exercise but keep safe distance. I could go for a walk on the course. But not play?

I believe it would be beneficial to people to open golf courses back up .But with restrictions as only two people at a time and you must walk no carts also take the flags out .

With most golfers handicap they would be lucky to be 6 yards from each other. It would be safe.
