Nanny Murphy knows what is best for us because we are all children. We are so lucky to have him leading our great state (sarcasm). Unfortunately his ability to spew executive orders is not being questioned or challenged by other authorities, and he is abusing his power. You can definitely have social distancing while playing golf in the wide open area that golf courses provide. One person to a cart or just walking the course would be within the limits of social distancing. And using common sense among fellow golfers just as we should do in any current circumstance

I would like to see the golf courses open with appropriate safety provisions in place. I believe this can be done successfully in NJ as it is being done in other states. For many, golf is their only available fitness and should not be considered non-essential.

Keeping NJ golf courses closed while neighboring state courses are open is more dangerous than opening the golf courses in NJ with social distancing safety measures. Desperate golfers are crossing state lines to golf which has a greater impact on the spread of COVID-19. Governor Murphy you are a smart man the data is in front of you analyze it and make the correct decision!

Please reopen the courses. Social distance is easily done, no carts or single player per cart. Amenities, restaurants your call. All transactions can be CC only online paid in advance. Players arrive in order of play only. Easily controlled play.
