Steps have been taken by golf courses to ensure compliance with proper precautions. Take the Myrtle Beach Golf Capital of the World still allows courses to be open. NJ should do the same.

Golf is one of the few activities that can be performed while maintaining social distancing and practicing precaution. While it may not be essential in the sense tbat everyone has veen using it, its essentail for mental health and sanity for a lot of people during thee unprecedented times

You could go as far as removing all pins and ball washers and keeping bathrooms closed and locked.

With social distancing and individual carts or walking, golf should be played In NJ,we are playing in Naples,FL under these same conditions

It would seem to me golfers could easily stay 6 feet away. No socializing at the 19th hole. Pack your clubs and go back home.
