The Governor’s Counsel was yelling “for !” and there were no balls in the air. No facts to support the closures.

I don't golf but this makes sense to me. Allow golfers to golf with the six recommendations that are suggested in this petition.

It is inane to have parks closed due to a handful of people who are acting bad. They just meet in other areas. People are out walking the streets and sidewalks. The are more crowded than the supermarket. They are called open areas for a reason.

Please let me enjoy the frustrations of my golf game! Playing bad golf gets my mind off of living under house arrest

The closing of State and County parks is a clear over reach by this administration. This action was taken without the benefit of obtaining any scientific data and is based on feelings and hearsay.

Most of the offenders are off-roaders who are riding in normally illegal places to ride.

Come on people. Open the courses. Give the people of NJ something to do. The demand is there, there are protective guidelines in place at some of these courses before being shut down. No one should have their right to walk outside for 4 hours taken away from them.

Got to start getting things back to normal, opening golf courses with the safety provisions in place seems like an easy, and necessary first step.

I don't even play golf anymore but I know this was a horrible reactionary decision (like most that have been made) done out of fear, not facts.

There is a need for people to be able to get out and exercise. Don’t punish the majority because of a few who don’t follow the rules.

Not only should golf courses be open but all state, county, and town parks as well. The more that is closed up the more people will congregate. Start opening things back up!!!!!

Golf courses are safer than going to the grocery store!

Murphy is overreacting and overreaching … Murphy has already discussed maintaining the stay-at-home orders till May 20. He also just stated usage of face masks is required for stores and public transportation. I've never voted for governor in any previous elections, but in the next election, I will be definitely be voting against Murphy. #NoGolfNoMurphy

Golf is an excellent way to exercise and enjoy the benefits of the great outdoors.
