Golf is an outdoor recreational activity, similar to running and walking. Which is still allowed! If I can go on a run, I should be able to play a quick 9.

With proper precautions, playing golf during the COVID-19 crisis should be allowed in the state of New Jersey.
Per Governor Murphy, "Life in New Jersey does not have to come to a complete standstill. We want people to stay healthy, both physically and mentally.
If you head outside to take a walk or go for a run or go to the grocery store, please continue practicing social distancing."
With proper precautions, golf is not a dangerous outdoor activity!
