Random sightings on another cold, windy day in Monmouth County, About 50-75 people on the Manasquan jetty, people fishing, walking around, inlet packed with cars, many people walking on roads along the various ocean towns, many not remotely close to being 6 feet apart, and of course, many pleasure boats, with several + people onboard, in a very confined space now free to be used, but 1-4 people playing golf at a time, in a wide open space, following new protective measures, continues to be banned? If people can be on small boats together, golf courses needed to be reopened, END of Story. Common sense, please!

I guess Murphy wants to enjoy his private boat since he just re-opened marinas and boatyards that were ordered closed due to coronavirus. Too bad he doesn't golf !

With proper restrictions and compliance, golf can be safely performed with minimal risk of COVID-19 transmission.

This is one recreation activity where social distancing is possible and responsible adults would willingly adhere to same and still be able to get needed exercise and community (non)contact. Walking only, lifted no touch cups, no rakes or clubhouse provided items (ie water coolers) leave pin in , pay on-line or over phone. Let us be grown ups please.

We need to have some balance in this situation. Inactivity of the masses will create other chaos in NJ having everyone traveling to NY to play.
