It’s an out door activity. I see no reason to close.

Those are all practical comments that make common sense. I can't think of too many sports where you can easily keep a 6 foot distance anf in most cases dozens of yards.

As a long time golf enthusiast and former D1 college golfer, I too would like to courses remain open as it is the sport I love and it is not as easily accessible at home as are other sports. To get out is such a great stress relief from the situation as is possible to keep social distancing while playing golf is much easier than compared to other sports. We beg you Gov. Murphy to accept this petition

I am an avid golf fan and player, and courses around my hometown have not shut down but rather have implemented changes to reduce the chance of spreading COVID-19 (i.e. removing bunker takes, closing canteens except for prepackaged food, reducing congregation is pro shop, leaving flagsticks in holes, and inverting holes). Making changes rather than closing down allows people to still get out of the house and do things while getting fresh air during such a restricted time.

No reason people can't get out to play and feel more normal if social distancing is maintained

Golf is an outdoor sport and should not be off limits. Lets get the courses open so us golfers can get out of the house and get some exercise.

I have more social distancing play golf that I do going to the local grocery store. Outside and touching nothing. In the store you have people, carts, cardboard. Etc,,,,,

Being outside and exercising appropriate precautions while playing golf is no different than hiking in our local, county and state parks.

One Of the few sports will you where you can socially distance yourself. Please don’t take this unnecessarily.

I understand the need for caution but I feel this decision by the state is counter productive
