Golf is a sport where you are primarily at a safe social distance to begin with. With the additional recommendations suggested, there’s no reason why golf courses should be closed! Plus, it’s a great source of getting some exercise! Walking An 18 hole round of golf is typically 5 miles at a minimum.

Open the Golf Courses!!! With new rules pins can remain in and not have to be touched.. maintain 6' distances is easy on a golf course.. no carts walking only and could also limit no singles allow in groups to cut down on random people.. only play with people you know and trust to avoid spreading of the virus..

1 Additional Guideline should be put in - all golf courses will raise the cups, thus preventing players from touching them. A putt is considered "good" by simply bouncing off the exposed portion of the hole (i.e. cup)

Opening up the courses and playing golf ( w/o carts, walk only) is a win win because people need to exercise and being outdoors, minimum of 10 ' space and spending $ will benefit many desperately needed roles in the NJ economy

As conscientious individuals we are smart enough to follow these guidelines and more while getting the fresh air and exercise we need.

Also add styrofoam around base of holes so no one has to reach for ball inside hole
