NY State golf courses are open for business with social distance restrictions. NJ has been a leader in golf industry and to shut courses is only adding to anxiety and potential mental health issues. PLEASE RECONSIDER

We are farther apart on a golf course than in a supermarket.

Seems like an unreasonable prohibition. with the stated precautions golf can be a safe and healthy outlet for a lot of people.

I agree to be safe but we can keep the courses open at a safe distance

During this mentally stressful time, Golf is needed as a escape from this scary world we are living in. 4 hours on a course with a group of 3-4 friends is much needed and easily played distanced at a minimum of 6ft from each other. Please let us play and get some sort of sanity back during these dark days.

With the proper precautions this can be done safely.

Makes NO sense to allow people to go for walks or do anything outdoors then close golf courses. With the restrictions they have in place it is a whole lot safer than being in a grocery store.

You allow liquor stores open which are non essential. But the golf course I work on over 200 open air akers is to remain closed. This golf industry need to be open for the state of NJ.

Mental health is a stepping stone to physical well being. Exercise and controlled proximity are a positive force and will promulgate well being.

I would add that the cups will be raised or covered so balls will not be putted into the cup where COVID-19 can spread. When you hit the cup you have finished the hole.
