There should be the need to repeat every individual's choice ( FAMILIIES). This means a reasonable considering that would favour all. The fact that others have to sacrifice their physiological and psychological preference for the sock of someone else is discrimination and metal abuse. Everyone have the right to define their own gender.

This absolutely feels like a must. Girls should be able to chose to wear skorts or shorts and there should be no discrimination against this!!!!!!

completely unfair to remove them in the first place.

I agree that girls (and boys) should be permitted to wear gender specific uniform if they wish.

I would also add that there is not a single sport which cannot be played as wholeheartedly in a skort as it can in shorts! Skorts offer equal practicality, and for girls they offer more at particular times of the month.

Both my sons have told me how they support the girls struggle with the shorts, so this is a school wide issue, not just for the girls!

I think a choice between skorts and shorts for boys and girls is essential.

My daughter absolutely hates the shorts. She feels very uncomfortable when she has her period, the shorts just aren’t secure enough. In my opinion they look rather scruffy also.

Whilst I’m supportive that girls should be allowed to wear shorts if they want for PE girls should also have the choice to wear skorts. Equality is not about everyone confirming to make stereotypes and make dress but about providing choice for boys and girls to wear what they feel most comfortable in

The girls find them incredibly uncomfortable. They hinder their sporting activities.
All the other schools wear skorts , so our girls immediately loose their “game face” when arriving for a fixture .
For children with neuro diversity and sensory issues this is highly discriminatory in what is already a very challenging world.
