Allow Girls to Wear Skorts for PE Kit

Skorts are good and like if you can have them this long w/o banning them why now? Its for comfort not the boys stop being dirty xxx

I believe pupils should be able to choose whether they wear skorts or shorts depending on which they feel more confident and comfortable in.

I am deeply concerned about the motives behind this new policy. It seems institutionally misogynistic, abusive and humiliating to force cisgender girls to wear boys' clothes. This is the polar opposite of 'inclusivity'.

It’s a waste of resources to bin perfectly good items if uniform. I also agree skorts are more secure during periods.

Students have every reason to protest…When a movement towards inclusion of one group creates disclusion, by punishment, of another then it’s the leadership that needs to be set right. The wearing is a skirt goes back centuries, in Ancient Egypt and the first 'skirts' were worn by men, very similar to skorts, a wraparound skirt that was belted at the waist, called the Shendyt. To ban Skorts is not practical, comfortable and becomes non inclusive sending a message that once again takes us back to young women receiving a message that their rights are secondary. I’m appalled.
