We pay the tuition to go to this university, and part of that tuition covers the cost of wireless internet.

When we are stuck in the library for hours waiting for a class, it's infuriating to not be able to get on a game of SC2 with some friends.

These games do not inhibit bandwidth, and the only reason they would be blocked is due to the old fashioned and outdated belief that video games do not have a purpose in a scholastic setting.

Many studies show that games increase brain power, and allow people to practice basic concepts of strategy and timing, but the administration still has the ancient mindset that video games shouldn't belong in a college setting, despite how popular they are with our demographic.

Video games also are a perfect way to take a break from a long study session. They allow a temporary escape from homework while still keeping minds active and thinking.

Sign this petition to show that we the students care about our gaming, and our large tuition and fees more than cover the cost of any potentially small bandwidth loss from an online game or two.
