When it was announced that Dice would be working on the new Battlefront I thought "Great!". With their history with the entire battlefield series and basically creating a new genre of game they would be perfect. After all the original first 2 Battlefronts took their cues from Dice's battlefield. Sadly in an effort to cast the biggest net possible and create a game for "8 to 35 year olds". The new game had to be simplified and many potential features discarded because Dice feared those features would be too deep or complex for casual players. In fact a representative from EA/Dice clearly said "This game will likely not satisfy the hardcore gamer". While the current game is absolutely gorgeous with the models, weapons, environments and vehicles all looking 1st rate. The game play, options and replay value are all very shallow. I'm looking forward to G.I.T. because I want more vehicles, to have multiple players ride together in vehicles when possible, to have classes (to give people "jobs" on the battlefront besides just kill opponents), more logical customization, squads and better command structure organization, a server browser, joystick options, a favorites list of servers, customizable loadouts for each class, space battles, Expanded Universe vehicles and skins, no random battlefront power ups to get weapons or pilot vehicles. I support Galaxy in Turmoil!

I'd really like to see this come true, So many people have already put in hundreds of hours of painstaking working into starting the project that its quite simply impossible for me to say "No" as this is exactly what I've wanted growing up with Star Wars as a child ,and fruthermore this project will uphold and maintain the honorable work performed by the Developers of Free Radical Design on the Cancelled Battlefront III- They deserve to see some form of their work released!
