Hi! I work in Hillman. To be clear: only hot food is not allowed. Sandwiches? Chips? Fruit? Trail mix? Bagels? All OK!

Different people have different schedules, let em eat. I feel non-judgmental when other people bring food in, and to be honest I'm shocked that this is something that actually bothers people. I'm sure more people are against this than for it.

This is ridiculous. Hillman's coffee cart sells food. Students should be allowed to eat while in the library because it is necessary and sometimes we run low on time during the day and because, at night, it is dangerous to make students leave the safety of the library to find somewhere else to eat.

I've spent eight hours straight in the library. How can you require me to go someplace else just to eat? It would be reasonable to designate certain areas for food, but banning it is unethical quite honestly.

If you study for an extended period of time, you need to be able to eat in Hillman to provide your brain with the nutrients needed to keep studying!
