Even though there is a night shift on iOS, you don't have much control compared to what Flux offers.
Flux did helped me a lot for my eye. It is a must for iOS.

Why do we even have to petition for this? There is growing evidence that excessive blue light exposure can damage peoples vision and disrupt sleep patterns - at some point Apple will be held responsible for actively blocking a healthier alternative - why not be pro-active and add f.lux now instead?
