With the majority of states now allowing residents some sort of concealed firearms permit, many companies allow their patrons to carry concealed firearms, yet they prohibit their employees from carrying their weapon.

If an individual has the approved training, and has the approved license no private company should be allowed to override a legal state issued license, employee or not.

This petition is particular to any company who allows private citizens to carry concealed weapons but not their employees, this adds a degree of danger to an employee as almost no company has made this change to allow their employees to carry concealed firearms and the criminals are aware of this as well.

As well as safety for the individual, this also could pose safety to the workforce in general. As a well trained individual could prevent a multitude of things from going on, such as robbery, in the retail establishment, this may even cause shop lifters to think twice, and may ultimately save retailers more money by deterring shop lifters.
