Agree my kids also goes behind Greenbelt to play that’s the only safe place they can go esp now with taxis and other cars speeding around db

My son is one of those boys. He never plays later than 6.30. It definitely is necessary to give our kids a chance to play outside during this terrible time for them.

What else can kids do at the moment, honestly. Growing up in dB this has never been an issue, but it seems more recent years people have grown fond of filing complaints on just about everything. Let the kids play, in these difficult times give them some sunshine and fun. This is no way for kids to grow up. Heavily disappointed that there is a petition going up to ban kids from playing basketball outside. Ridiculous. For those of you signing the ban petition, have fun listening to basketballs being bounced around in apartment buildings.

Kids have online school currently and limited social and sporting opportunities. It’s a no-brainer that they should be allowed to enjoy outdoor sports in small groups.
