We have chickens and love them. They should be allowed everywhere!

My kids would love to learn how to keep chickens. It seems silly that we have the space for it but are stopped by outdated rules.

As someone who has owned chickens for over 10 years, including 5 years in a suburban neighborhood, I can vouch for all of this. Although chickens are normally seen as livestock, for many people they become pets, the same as a dog or cat - while also being more useful, as they can produce fresh eggs, something neither cats nor dogs can do. They are also quieter and take up less space than most dogs - in fact, one could even argue that chickens are more suited to suburban and even urban life than dogs or cats.
