Cats are very ideal as indoor pets so long as owners are educated well that meshing or gates and windows are NECESSARY. There will definitely not be an issue keeping cats in HDB. And they are naturally toilet trained and quiet little furballs. I don't see why they can't be kept in HDB:(

It seems to me the government are just trying to curb the people's freedom to choose what type of pet to keep in their own home..i never step onn cat's poop or pee when i walk under my block..in fact, i have to avoid stepping on dog's poop and pee all the way right to my lift..Cats are known and scientifically proven to be a clean animal..so state the fact why cat's are'nt allowed to be in HDBs..

I want cats in hdb. As long as owners willinng to mesh up their windows & grills & keep them indoors. If hdb requires cat owners to have documents of cats, I AM WILLING TO PROOF THE OWNERSHIP THAT THE CATS ARE MINE. Dont sell cat stuff if we cant keep cats..!! Then just have dogs of everything when their sizes are way bigger than cats are & are able to attack anyone. Bias i supposed. Wonder where is "Living in harmony" go? Animals can live together so does human & animals. They have feelings & they need love like we all do too. Please!! Cats arent nuisance. But humans are.

Cats should be allowed in HDB. This will also help in reducing stray cats on the streets by allowing cats in HDB. All cars should be given the right to in all homes not the specific ones.
