Carissa has gone above and beyond for all of us as well as the unit during her interim position as NM. She is always willing to go that extra mile to help anyone and assures that the floor is ran smoothly. No one knows the job better than her! Why would you take someone who has the best interest of our staff and patients, to train someone without the experience? She loves the job and is the perfect fit. Please consider allowing her more time to fulfill the educational requirement to continue in the NM position on Rehab.

Carissa has made the world of a difference on our unit for cohesiveness, building morale & camaraderie and overall logistics of our routines (green light system, huddle updates, etc.). Plus, she's always been on point with helping us understand the "why's" behind the "what's". And she's a scheduling guru!

I have worked with Carissa for 19 years. She understands all of the rehabilitation rules and regulations. She has done a wonderful job as the interim. Please seriously consider her for this role, She is a transformational leader.

Carissa has been an absolute blessing to our unit. Carissa has taken this role by the horns and really made a difference on the rehab unit. She is dedicated to listening to the patients and staff and is a team player. She is an asset to Mayo Clinic and the rehab unit.

Please allow Carissa to apply to be our nurse manager! Since the time she taken this role, our unit has become more unified than ever, communication has improved between all staff, and we feel so supported and loved. Carissa has that special magic that no one would be able to replace here on the rehab unit and losing her as our nurse manager would be so unfortunate. She is PERFECT!!
