I think we should be able to wear small studs as it's not a hazard of its a stud whereas a hoop can be. Also I miss having my tragus stud in too! I can understand why we would have to take them out for PE however we should be allowed to be worn in lessons. It doesn't effect our education one little bit! We can still focus and learn and having a stud in you doesn't make a difference.

Although I am leaving in a few months, I think it is ridiculous that the school stops students from having certain piercings and hair colours when many of the staff have these peircings. I know of at least one member of staff who is regularly wearing their tongue piercing.

Also I wasted £20 on getting mine done when I had to take it out.

think that we should be allowed to wear retainers, because it does not affect our education in any way.

to be honest they are always telling us to 'be ourselves' 'feel confident in the skin were in' and 'celebrate individuality'. yet they take away all our opportunities to show our individuality- i really don't see how piercings (and bright coloured hair, jewellery etc) can affect our education! another point i would like to bring up is sixth form at cromwell- surely that is a time to express ourselves with our individual styles- but no. Smart office wear- you should be allowed to wear what you want much like other sixth form colleges- sign this petition we need to get our points across.
