Allow backyard chickens

I don't live in Juda but think chickens should be allowed!

I am in favor of backyard chickens. However, I think there should also be regulations about how many, and the kinds of enclsosures and cleanliness standards. There should also be a yearly inspection that verifies the standards are adhered to and a SMALL annual fee to cover the cost of the inspection. One of the joys if living in Juda is country appeal in a community setting. Do not take away that freedom by restricting backyard chickens. The City of Madison and other large progressive communities allow them, and it works. There is no reason to restrict them here.

Please allow more than 2 chickens, they are fun, they provide eggs and 2 aren't enough for a family of 5

Please allow back yard chickens! As long as they are hens, enclosed in a coop and run and well cared for, there shouldn't be an issue. In Genesee, WI, we just got approval to amend our zoning to allow chickens on properties less than 3 acres.

If it's Only Hens for eggs, 4H, and pets why not? Most other towns all around Juda with any interested allow hens! What better way to teach our children where our food comes from?

really? someone has a problem with a few quiet hens? wtf us wrong with ppl?? I have a problem with their barking, loose, dangerous dogs. Why doesn't the county concentrate of what's more important... like keeping our children safe from dangerous dogs.

I think ALL Small Towns should allow Backyard Chickens because it gives you fun and also teaches you about responsibility and also teaches you how to "watch out" for the unexpected.

Yes - most definitely, chickens should be allowed!. These chickens are NOT hurting anyone - they are in a closed coop. How can you allow some to have chickens & others not?? This is not fair at all!! They are helping kids learn responsibility & how to love animals!!

There is no legal obligation in which you need to take chickens out of your yard. Hope this helps! -Jake

The residents of Juda, WI should be allowed to have chickens. They are less annoying & dangerous than barking & biting dogs.

Chickens help teach the children and provide a food source. Chicken coops are going up in larger communities.

Chickens are wonderful

Chickens should be allowed in green county.

Every family in Green.County should be able to have a reasonable number of chickens.

What is a few chickens if they are well cared for...

Leave them alone!!! More children need to be involved in things that require responsibly. The children are learning responsibility and they are developing a hobby. Better this then them growing up without things to occupy their time and them slipping into drugs. Leave the chickens alone!!!
