Hello,
My name is Jessica and I have been on Amazon since before Amazon was cool. I am someone who does not drive and use Amazon for daily purchases and even things such as grocery items.
I enjoy reading reviews from other people who have tried products that I am considering, because it helps me make a choice. If I am indecisive and there are no reviews, I typically choose another store that have them posted. I also enjoy doing reviews on items myself, because I know that it helps other people out in their shopping for items.
I am not a lowball spender and in calculating all of my purchases there I have spent over $11,000 there over the last few years time (I can send this spreadsheet if need be). I often will tell my family out of state to send me gift cards to there, because my husband is military and with not driving they know this is where I do my PRIMARY shopping.
I have tried to place reviews and the system locked me out and had deleted reviews for some reason. Upon asking others, they have had the same issues taking place! This is unfair and we should be free to "speak our mind", this is America and that is our RIGHTS AS AMERICANS. If you have a PUBLIC marketplace such as Amazon and someone gets a bad item or good item, they should be able to share this information with other people with no fear of what may happen to their accounts!
The latest incident has made me rethink my views on Amazon and makes me want to take ALL of my business to another major retailer who also delivers to my area.
So, I would like to ask Amazon to consider allowing people to speak their mind, and have the freedom of speech that is rightfully deserved!
Thank you very much,
Jessica D.
They constantly delete my honest feedback too! It feels like they only want the paid reviews to show up. Stop hiding the truth about these cheap products.
