The bush will never be the same without the Pie and Mash shop. The ladies have been serving forever. I have been going since the sixties.

I've been eating at Cooke's for more than 50 years. They are still going strong after others in Acton Lane and Hammersmith Broadway (0pposite the "Apollo") have long since disappeared. They are the last of their kind.
Nothing taste's better, especially served on those British Rail plates, odd spoons and forks, and best of all their own chilli/pepper vinegar in lemonade bottles! Just great.
Are the current owners trying to secure another shop? Every one must help. Are there any premises they can use?

Been going to Cooke's for 50 year's and mum before that. Would be nice to keep it going, in some form.

A.Cookes has been part of our tradition down the bush, especially on a match day. Having the pie and mash within the ground would be a great success with the home and away fans. Would be a real shame to see it go from the area.

Closing Cookes would be wrong. Should ideally stay in Goldhawk road but if it has to move then bring it to rangers. Got to keep the same old girls working there also.

dad lived near as a child, and used to go with nan and grandad, dad took us and we fell in love with it, on match days it's packed! By QPR and its a match day tradition... Bringing it to loftus road would be amazing, as pretty much everyone loves the owners and workers who are QPR through and through !

wonderful idea
Luv to see cooked at loftus rd
What a great idea
Best pie & mash in London
Let's go for a local speciality - something good and different that offers choice - rather than the awful offerings we currently have at Loftus Road.
