This is a petition in support of releasing NY state inmate Allen Williams 96R4316 to society. Thank you to those who already know him & intend on signing this online petition. For those of you who do not know him, thank you for your blind faith & courage to step outside of the box & do what YOU feel is right! Allen's information regarding his crime can be accessed through NY DOC website. He is 33 years old & has spent the last 18 years incarcerated. Yep, you did the math correctly. He has spent more consecutive years in prison that he has as a free young man. We are not asking for your signature based on the amount if years he has been confined. Rather, to right a wrong that has been committed by the NY department if parole. Supreme court justice has already affirmed that Allen shall be granted a new parole hearing immediately as they have no grounds in which to continue to deny his freedom. Allen will go before the parole board within weeks of the new year & it is imperative that YOUR signature support is gained in order to reach the parole board by the time of Allen's next hearing.
