im honestly shocked by how many people are backing this and seeing everyone jump on board proves we really need this space in lexington. it feels like we finally have some real momentum to show the city council that things have to change.

im still pushing for a meeting with the city council because the current bar laws are just killing our scene. people have been sharing so many stories about shows being cancelled at the y and it really shows how much we need our own space.

so many talented bands around here and literally nowhere to play. makes no sense.
Lexington music scene is dying because of these rules. kids have nowhere to go but house shows that get shut down. we need a place that stays open for everyone.
The ymca deal was such a joke. we need a real space for music that doesnt get pulled last minute. please fix this lexington.
KEEP THE SCENE ALIVE!!!!
Finally someone said it. i am so sick of driving to louisville just to see a band because they wont play 21+ venues here.

I really miss the old days when we could actually attend shows without being 21. its not fair to keep the younger crowd out of the local art scene.
