We kindly ask that all land lord be compensated during this period while disabled people occupying their buildings as they are advised to stay indoor.
We ask that all disabled people paying loan's and installment be given more time as they are advised to stay home more longer.
We ask to see see schools for the disabled that are ready as they also need to get back to school as they dont have same disability.
We ask to see mask for people who are deaf as all the mask developed by companies shown on the ministers briefing on the 29/05/2020 showed no company that is developing them
It looks like all things are developing at a fast pace accept for the community of the disabled.nothing has been said about us accept that we must stay at home.
How do disabled stay at home an complete their practicals for leanerships as we are adviced to stay at home and how will employees employ them permant I while they work from home.we can see work is being developed for people like the gauteng department of education data base but nothing being said about disabled people.
We further more ask that all disable people be delivered medication to the place of residence by the health care worker as this will reduce more traveling an avoiding going an not getting the medication or not having money.
We ask that all transport systems accommodate disabled people.we ask that taxi drivers be trained on how to cope with disabled people as we find them rude an not accommodative as this time we need support more than ever.

I think it is a good idea.... Because during this time they need all the money they have for medical needs and food and other necessities

I fully support this petition as a disabled person.living with Disability is never being easy and in most cases we are taken for granted and sidelined in most things by own South African government Also the issue of asking for medications to be delivered to our places is all because this pandemic of covid19 is increasing every day and it now infect doctors and nurses who we are going to meet when we attend hospital,so I plead with our government to please take this petition seriously and in more consideration by NOT forgetting that as disabled people,we are more likely to be infected by this corona virus because our human systems are no longer able to fight infections for our bodies like that of abled bodied individuals thus put us in more danger JUST by entering Hospital premises On the fact of teaching taxi drivers and owners how to work or handle us,I think that is no secret that they mistreat us.They will pass us in hot shining weather even worse in pouring raining weather complaining about how we are going to waste their time because we are slow,how we are going to be their burden because they will have to help us get in the Taxi and when ridding off.Even some passengers mourn on how we are going to make them be late at work And that cost us even more than Disability life is costing us.i say so because I am from Welkom in the free State,and a taxi fee to town and from town is R20,Now because of the reasons I stated regarding taxi drivers and owners, people like me we are forced to hire a SPECIAL as we call it in Welkom,and that cost me R100 to town and R100 from town that makes it to a total of R200 instead of paying R20 to and from town.Now this means I have lost R180.00 And it's not only that,you have to also attend your hospital appointments twice in a month for SOPD & OOPD , That means same procedure and money I used to go to town and back that cost me R200,,I am using same procedure twice more for hospital appointments,,Now that means I pay R600

I am what you'd categorise as "abled", and do support this petition and its stated grievances. It is already hard and difficult for us the "abled", now imagine being "disabled" ! Please, let's help.

Please give the people living with disabilities a holiday when it comes to rental payments during this lockdown. It is very hard for us , things are expensive and we must put extra money on our groceries as our kids are at home the whole day also the electricity is very expensive.
