Niles west is a school about opportunities, they say there is a club for everything but all the school really wants to do is shut down the clubs that have had nothing but success. One club in particular is the Niles West Auto Competion Club, this club is a way for students to race cars competitively but in a safe manner on the track instead of on the street. Niles West is calling the club "unsafe, a liability, and expensive" but the school does not have to pay for a thing except for the insurance, this year the club offered to cover that cost as well. The club has been racing for 8 years and has never had an injury and if the school is scared of liability then every single program in the school would have to be shut down like football or any other sport and clubo so being that they already shut down the racing team what club or sport is next. Help us shiw that no club should be taken away. The Auto Competition Team has changed lives and made the roads safer for everyone, please don't take this away from kids who need it
