I have spent my entire week drafting additional legal correspondence to keep the pressure on the UNHCR regarding the safety of Ali mahin Torabi. The risks he faces if he returns to Iran are constant and heavy on my mind every single day. I am documenting their responses so I can keep you fully informed on the status of his protection.

Keep Ali safe. Nobody deserves to live in fear like that.
This is a matter of life and death. You cant just send him back to that regime knowing full well what will happen to him. Please do the right thing.
Protect Ali. Send him to safety.
PLEASE help him. he has done nothing wrong other than want to be free.
Human rights matter. Get him to a safe country before its too late.

Unbelievable that this is even a debate. He needs real protection now.
