We the fans, have all been touched by the eerily beautiful vocals of the late legend, Layne Staley. The flawless harmony with Jerry Cantrell, is unmistakably superb & can never be recreated. The songs they wrote together are the words that so many relate too. The late Mike Starr, was an immensely gifted bassist & Sean Kinney on the drums, brought the whole package together, forming a group that pioneered the Seattle Sound Movement.

As a group, Alice in Chains became one of the most successful music acts of the 1990s, selling over 20 million albums worldwide, their critically acclaimed album, Dirt, is certified quadruple platinum. They also achieved two No. 1 Billboard 200 releases, 14 top ten songs on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart & eight Grammy Award nominations. These amazing achievements, as well as their influence on so many other musicians, provides the facts that Alice in Chains is, without a doubt, most deserving of a Hall of Fame induction.

Music is about grabbing hold of someone's attention & making them relate to a song. That is exactly what Alice In Chains has done & continues to do. As fans, we are united by the mutual love & respect for Alice in Chains. We were brought together by Layne, Jerry, Mike & Sean. To see them receive this prestigious honor & be inducted, amongst all of the greats that went before them, would be tremendous & would allow for the next generation to keep their music alive just as we have.

merchandise & support the band day in & day out, because we truly believe in them. The fans of Alice in Chains are like no other & it is our mission to see to it that they receive the induction they rightfully should.
